UK Precision Ltd was established in 2007 through the merger of Yalesystems Ltd and Qualtech Engineering Ltd, established in 1987 and 1997 respectively.

This amalgamation brought together two businesses with a strong background of delivering turned and machined parts at the highest standards to customers in a wide range of sectors.

Yalesystems Ltd was established in 1987 to specialise in prototype and development work. It grew steadily into a modern production facility, and was able to offer customers a full turned and milled part production capability using the latest CNC technology. Yalesystems was based on the business park at Exeter Airport in Devon and has an excellent reputation for quality and service.

Qualtech Engineering Ltd was established in Chard, Somerset in 1997 to provide sub-contract manufacturing services to a wide range of industries. They were also renowned for their quality and service and were looking for growth solutions to meet growing customer demand.

In May 2007, Qualtech Engineering Ltd acquired the shares of Yalesystems Ltd and began working with the existing management and employees to merge the two businesses, whilst retaining their existing locations
Fast-forward to today, we are still based in Chard and Exeter and this dual factory set-up allows us to continue to service a wide range of sectors and customers across the UK.
